A software update to the Edge browser that began rolling out this week will permanently disable Internet Explorer 11 on any Windows computer that still has it installed. as under the Learn Solid Edge menu accessed either via Application Menu or via the icon at the top of the right sidebar it opens Internet Explorer. The Executable path will show a path starting with C:\Program Files, which indicates a system install. To check if Microsoft Edge is installed at the systems level, type 'edge://version' in the Microsoft Edge address bar.
